Shamanic Breathwork takes this a step further, transforming conscious breathing into an immersive, transformative experience.
What is Shamanic Breathwork?

Shamanic Breathwork is a powerful practice that blends ancient shamanic wisdom with modern breathwork techniques. It’s a journey inward, guided by rhythmic, circular breathing, breath holds, evocative music, and focused intention. We create a sacred space for you to connect with your inner wisdom, unlock profound insights, and experience deep healing.

A Journey Through the Elements and Chakras

This practice is deeply rooted in the natural world, honoring the elements of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air as fundamental forces that shape our experience. We work with these elements and the chakra system to balance energy, release stagnant emotions, and facilitate transformation.

Each element is paired with specific music, including the resonant tones of the shamanic drum, and a corresponding chakra to enhance the experience:

  • Earth: Root Chakra (Muladhara) – Fostering a sense of security, grounding, and belonging.
  • Water: Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – Promoting creativity, emotional fluidity, and sensual/sexual energy.
  • Fire: Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – Enhancing confidence, personal power, and will.
  • Air: Heart Chakra (Anahata) – Fostering love, compassion, and connection.

As we work with these lower chakras, the energy naturally begins to rise, activating:

  • Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – Enhancing communication and self-expression.
  • Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – Heightening intuition and inner vision.
  • Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – Deepening connection to spiritual realms and universal consciousness.

While the breath holds are focused on the lower chakras, these upper energy centers work independently. As the lower chakras open, the energy surges upward, culminating in a powerful opening of the Crown Chakra.

The Process

During the session you will be guided through each step, you do not need to know the chakra system, all you have to do is to follow the circular Breathing and focus on the body part guided. The elements are not merely symbolic; they are living forces that influence our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. By connecting with these elements through breath, sound, and intention, we tap into a powerful source of healing and transformation. I will guide you through specific Breathing patterns, incorporating breath holds at each chakra point to support energy balancing and emotional processing. This process facilitates an altered state of consciousness, allowing access to the subconscious mind where deep healing and transformation can occur.

Safety and Support

Your safety and well-being are paramount. Trauma-informed techniques, somatic tools, and nervous system regulation are integrated throughout the experience to ensure a safe and supportive environment. With prior consent, energetic or gentle physical touch may be offered to support movement of energetical blockages in the body, to assist your process and integration.
