About Me

My Journey to Overcoming Autoimmune Disease

I want to share a little of my story about how I overcame my sickness. My hope is that it will inspire others, just like I was inspired, and led me to take charge of my own health.
I’ve been living on the beautiful island of Koh Phangan, Thailand, for the past eight years,
living healthy as I can and surrounded by nature kind of a dream that was made into reality,
but my healing journey started much earlier.
Since early childhood, I struggled with health issues due to an autoimmune condition,
rheumatoid fever, inflammation, eczema, anemia, hormonal imbalance, water retention, and chronic constipation and mentally I suffered from depression, anxiety and panic attacks.
It wasn’t a life I wanted or chose for myself, but these were my circumstances back then.

After my mother passed away from cancer, I was diagnosed with a pre-stage of cervical cancer and,
and also had to do surgery on my “bad” knee.
I felt like my body was a painful prison working against me.

Full of despair, I sought alternative help, as the medical system couldn’t provide relief, and the medications prescribed destroyed my digestive system.
I came across an online story of a person with similar health issues who had overcome them through fasting and detoxification, It was just a glimmer of light, but it was enough to ignite hope within me.

I delved into intense research and began to realize that many, if not all, of my health issues were related to my gut and stress levels.

I changed my diet overnight, becoming plant-based and eliminating processed food, sugar, and gluten. I followed a diet that focused on natural whole foods, lots of fruits and vegetables, lentils and legumes, and incorporated shakes, juices, and herbal supplements.
I also practiced intermittent fasting, juice fasting, water fasting, and water colonics.

But the mind and body are closely connected, and I knew I had to address my mental and emotional side too, especially because stress by itself can cause illness.
It wasn’t easy; it required commitment and endurance, but I didn’t see any other choice.
I wanted to live, and live well, not just survive.
At the time, I was living in a very stressful environment, both family-wise and work-wise, so I had to learn ways to react differently to stressful situations.
This is where I began to practice yoga, meditation, and breathwork, which helped me immensely to find more peace, restore my nervous system from a hectic and fragile state to a relaxed one,
alkalize my body, and even unclog my rather stagnant lymphatic system.
It’s not well emphasized, but it’s remarkable to see how physical activity can affect our mental and emotional state so profoundly. For some, it can be more beneficial than lengthy psychological treatment.

results soon started to appear my symptoms subsided, I was more energized,
and I was pain-free for the first time after my sickness took over.

"You are what you eat"

It’s not well emphasized, but it’s remarkable to see how physical activity can affect our mental and emotional state so profoundly. For some, it can be more beneficial than lengthy psychological treatment.
Witnessing these changes, people around me asked for advice and help with their own chronic conditions.
I decided to educate myself more in order to help others and understand better what had healed my body.
it’s not any specific doctor or a pill that healed me, but my own body, We just need to give it the right conditions and time.

Best example is to observe nature – it’s a great teacher.
Ever tried growing plants? Then you know you’ve gotta give them the right stuff to really thrive – the right amount of water, sunlight, the right humidity, good soil. Mess that up, and the plant struggles, gets sick, or might even die.
We’re not that different, We need the right conditions to be healthy too. There’s no magic shortcut.
I learned that firsthand when I figured out what my body and mind needed. Once I got that right, my body’s natural healing system took over, and it was amazing.

In order to set my “right conditions,” I had to detox from toxins, parasites, heavy metals, and environmental pollutants, reduce my exposure to harmful chemicals in everyday products.
restore balance to my gut microbiome, those little microorganisms can be our true friends if we treat them well.
address my high stress levels, and work on releasing negative thoughts and emotions that were holding me back.”
For me, the easiest route to begin with was through Fasting.
We are overconsuming and bombarded by chemicals, and fasting is one of the best ways to address this. It’s been known for many decades and is familiar to every culture and religion, but it’s often forgotten now.

"Everyone has a doctor in him or her; we just have to help it in its work. The natural healing force within each one of us is the greatest force in getting well. Our food should be our medicine. Our medicine should be our food. But to eat when you are sick is to feed your sickness." — Hippocrates

You’d think with Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, saying “Let food be thy medicine,” that doctors would learn all about nutrition. Ironically, today’s top medical schools barely touch on the subject.

I delved into various fasting practices like intermittent fasting, solid food vacations, juice fasting, coconut water fasting, water fasting, and dry fasting. I discovered how beneficial herbs could be in the process of regeneration and the support of vital organs, as well as the elimination of toxic waste through water enemas and colemas. I realized my healing process was due to autophagy and ketosis

"The best of all medicines are resting and fasting." – Benjamin Franklin

I understood my purpose was to help others struggling with similar issues and to educate about the simplicity of these practices and self-care.

I also support clients with shadow work, inner child work, somatic practices, and nervous system regulation in a trauma-aware environment. For the past four years, I’ve been managing fasting and detox programs at one of the biggest healing centers in Koh Phangan,

I also teach yoga, meditation, breathwork, ice baths, rebirthing & shamanic breathwork, and water breathwork. All in a trauma-aware container, with a focus on nervous system regulation, somatic practices, shadow work, and inner child work.
